IRS draws new criticism over $70M in employee bonuses, says it's bound by union contract

WASHINGTON — Already reeling from a pair of scandals, the Internal Revenue Service is drawing new criticism over plans to hand out millions of dollars in employee bonuses.

This is just one of many examples as to why there should be no unions involved in public service. The IRS claims to be lacking in funding, yet they are required to pay bonuses under a union contract? For WHAT??? Certainly not for performance! Time to de-cert the public unions!
