Wells Fargo securities lending case goes to trial

The bank says its practices were reasonable and conservative, but investors who lost big in a securities lending program disagree.

Ceresi's got a nice fee racket going. Those money managers loved the product as long as they received ever higher income from the investments. They pushed for more income than they could get from investing in safe and secure Treasury Bills and threatened to leave if they didn't get more income. So they took bigger risks and lost money. Now Ceresi and other shyster lawyers have convinced them to sue. The only winner here will be Ceresi.
