You don't draft by position, you draft players who will be better than average players in the NBA at any position. There are free agents and trades also.

The more film I see of KCP the more it becomes apparent that he is the obvious pick for the Wolves. Lightning fast hands on D,quick in transition, can spot up and shot, and real active without the ball. Serious elevation This kid can do it all. If you have not gone over to ESPN and looked at the video Zach harper put up of him in "A wolf among Wolves" I highly suggest you do.

at this point, the MN Lynx seems more interesting than the Wolves because the Lynx can knock down jump shots! ahahaha...

Does it matter? The T'Wolves are to the draft what Europe was to the Middle Ages...plagued.

If the Wolves would be confident that they could sign Redick or Mayo I would be comfortable with C.J to play both guard positions as a back up.Good shooters are needed on this team.

Best player available who can score, but not another skinny kid that can't play defense and is a project.

If we get McCollum our free agent moves should address size and defense on the perimeter. If we draft KCP then we should target another shooter with some D.

drewman3414Jun. 20, 1311:35 AM

if you draft KCP you get both size and shooting. 6-5 shooting guard who can stroke sounds good to me.with our 2nd 1st round pick try to move up and nab the 7-2 bogut who also has a 7-7 wing span talk about adding length to our interior defense me boy.......

MuddyOasisJun. 20, 1312:03 PM

Wolves were worse on perimeter D than interior D last year. If you look at the game log, not a lot of bigs were the difference in the game. Our bigs out played them. What you will see is a lot of no name wings going off. That means they are left wide open outside, the Wolves were bottom 10 in the league in opposing teams' 3pt percentage, or they are easily getting by most of our wings.

Let's not let this be my word vs Muddy's view. Lets look at a couple reviews of the kid... What does ESPN have to say about KCP? "Positives Deadly shooter, Deep range, Quick release on his jump shot, Good athlete, Good passer, Excellent defender......
