Florida man indicted in Calif. with strangling wife and tossing her off cruise ship in Italy

SANTA ANA, Calif. — A California grand jury has indicted a Florida man on charges he strangled his ex-wife and tossed her off a cruise ship in Italy.

So he took all of her money out of her accounts, but maybe he's just a thief. If the alleged incident happened in Italy, then California charges can't possibly stick. No state or federal government from the United States can possibly have jurisdiction to prosecute this case. Italy seems to have proper jurisdiction to prosecute this case if they have evidence to convict. Hey California, get off your high and mighty horse!!!

If this guy or his ex-wife's a California resident then they have jurisdiction. Read the article for the circustantial evidence, which is all that is needed to obtain a conviction if the jury deems it sufficient.
