Let's be serious. You can't weave in and out at 150. The article gives a low of 132 and even that is almost impossible. The reporter has never raced a car or motorcycle and the police are not always very good sources of accurate information in these cases.

I did 140 mph on a Sunday morning on a little used highway north of Mpls once back in the 80's. Sometimes you just want to do it. Blasting thru the Lowry tunnel north on a Sat nite at 100 mph is cool too. Sound of the pipes makes it like being shot out of a cannon.

Or other cases, for that matter. Ever notice how po-po reports usually bear a striking similarity to the fibs you told your parents when you were a kid, justifying why your lesser siblings were suddenly bawling? "I had to stop him from hitting himself!" "I discerned(!)a strong aroma of alcohol." "We had to destroy the village in order to save it." God help me if I ever return to my homeland.

You can't fix stupid, but there's a lot to be said for the hot stove theory. Even animals will come to respect behavior that gives pain. Too bad this guy didn't experience a strong doese of the hot stove on his little ride.
