The most exciting part of this game was Eddie Guardado's first pitch.

"Diamond hits sixth inning wall..." Your headline leads one to believe that this is some sort of oddity when this has been the M.O. of the Twins starting pitching as long as Gardy and Andy have been running the show!!They have the pitchers conditioned to believe that if they get through five innings that they have somehow done "their job" than Gardy can continue to remind us all how "taxed" is bullpen is!!

3 hits again for the offense...2nd game in a row! 2 of the 3 hits were from recent call ups in Arcia and Thomas. Maybe the Twins should call up some more players. Gardy used up 2 of his most effective relievers again tonight in a game they were behind in Pressly (1.20 ERA) and Thielbar (0.00 ERA). Why he doesn't bring these 2 in when they're ahead to hold the lead (see Burton's last few blown saves)? Perplexing!

Yesterday there was a mini-boast about missing the Tigers best two starters, why brag about deprieving the remaining fans of a no-hitter?

Sometimes a bad team can be fun to watch. You know - the young talent on the field, the spark, the hustle, seeing them learn from mistakes, grow as leaders, and improve. This is NOT one of those teams. Watch a Twins game? No thanks. I'd rather watch a sloth race.

This is what you will get from the twins all year.. A few good games followed by a few bad games..followed by more bad games..then maybe a good game..etc even when they have a chance to give u a nice win streak..like a sweep vs philly, they will find a way to mess it up...need at least two more years for some guys to develop
