The "market" is always uncertain. If it wasn't it wouldn't be possible to make much money. Bank deposits are very certain, but very unprofitable.

First off, Bernanke cannot stop QE. If anything, he will increase it. Secondly, if you think bank deposits are "very certain" you haven't been doing your homework. Right now, in this country, if your bank has financial problems your "Very certain" bank deposits will very certainly be confiscated. It's called a "Bail In" as the Dodd Frank bill now prohibits public bank bail outs. Also, FDIC insurance won't protect you if your bank offers you stock as it's going out of business. And if the Fed stops QE, you'll likely be amazed at how quickly banks go out of business because they are all mostly insolvent.
