Give it up! All we've heard from the Twins PR department for the past 8 years is how great their prospects are. Yet none of them pan out in the Bigs. Stop re-printing the Twins PR department press releases that sugarcoat a horrific and talent-lacking AAA roster masquerading as a MLB team. The Twins stink! And they've stunk for 3 years now. Either field a competitive team or sell the team to someone who will.

Why would PR man Sid say anything different?

Doesn't matter how good they are now. When Gardy and TK teach the hitters to use the whole field, and Andy teaches to "pitch to contact" they will turn into just average players. Other than Joe M and Justin, name a few players the Twins have developed into better players through their system.

Yes, as the sage ages his "flashes" get more and more ludicrous. Is this senility what we all have to look forward to? What in the world would he expect the braintrust to forward, that they are disappointed or sad with their choices?

Glad Matt BIRK is retiring as a viking. I love the guy...smart, honest, hard working, never causing trouble....I am especially glad that he had the balls to not visit the White House because of his personal convictions. The man has a soul! Congratulations Matt....
