I can't take Cherryhomes mayoral run seriously considering she was run off the city council last time. I'm thinking this little campaign of hers is just intended to raise her google search rankings and also her consulting fees.

Who ever is the most conservative will get my vote!! And I'm a Democrat! These people have been giving the city away for years.

Hey, I have an idea. Since the DFL has done such a great job running the city into the ground, how about they leave us alone for, oh say, 200 years, and we let the grown ups make some changes? I mean, when the city can even keep roads in decent shape, when they spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on drinking fountains, when there are more rules and regulations for a home owner who wants to finish a basement than for a contractor who is running a scam on recent tornado victims, maybe the DFL needs to go.

Just remember, if want something different, Cam Winton is your guy! And with Instant Run Off Voting, he can pull it off!

Anybody but Cherryhomes, Samuels or Andrews. All support a Viking stadium. I have officially become a one issue voter.

The worst and most dangerous cities in America have all been run by democrats for decades. Anyone else see a problem here?

All pro-stadium candidates are out. We need more and better transit options so Winton is out. Hodges has the right stuff. She'll be a good mayor for Mpls.

I agree, Cam Winton is the only choice. Well, the only mature, adult choice. But..what do I know, I am a middle aged wite male who pays with cash and has no debt. My very liberal friends wont vote for anybody but a democrat. I am independent, voting both parties...but "they" hang onto the DFL party like a religion. I am stripping my vote from Hodges and going for Cam. Uphill battle, for sure.

If the candidate voted pro-stadium (Twins or Vikings) they are not going to become the Mayor in Minneapolis.

Pardon me, but wasn't Cherryhomes involved in something shady/dishonest during the Sales-Belton administration? Why would we want ANOTHER dishonest politician among the ranks of local government?
