I like how they celebrate a tuition freeze. How about reducing the over inflated tuition costs? Way to just pass the burden onto Grad and professional students too. Cut some administrative fat.

RE:The Law School’s leaders believe that having higher tuition, plus greater scholarships, “lets them shape a class” and maintain their national ranking, Kaler said. “I do defer to the expertise of deans of colleges.” ------------------------- The Law School Deans are pushing for higher tuition for law student so that they maintain artificial rankings? It is becoming more difficult to take Kaler seriously. Sixty percent of law graduates can't find legal jobs -- and this guy sees no problem in shifting the burden to graduate students? He hasn't been here long, but I'm counting the days until he is pushed out -- along with his apologists on the board of regents.

This is really a joke. Mr Kaler and the Regents have done nothing to reduce the bloated University. A handout from the state is not a significant accomplishment. We need new leadership at the U.

50k for a four year degree is by far the best investment a person will ever make. Times have changed, paying for school while attending isn't an option. Stop comparing it to 40 years ago and look at it for what it is, a great investment opportunity
