CHICAGO SKY guard/forward Elena Delle Dunne is the WNBA's most exciting new player and will be the league's 2013 Rookie of the Year. The 6'5" Delle Dunne is a pure and accurate shooter from 25 feet; fast and quick; intelligent game management technician with excellent court vision and superb sixth sense basketball instincts; relentless competitor on both ends of the court; owns a positively joyful "can do" leadership personality; is a total team player who welcomes the opportunity to take command and put a game's outcome on her shoulders whenever necessary. Brittney Griner is a smart towering 6'8" dynamic talent who nonetheless faces a competitive learning curve and may need time adjusting to professional players in the paint who run the floor as well as she does and whose physical strength and experience will mitigate her height advantage. Griner and fellow rookie Skylar Diggins will have nice WNBA careers, but Elena Delle Dunne is the Class of 2013's most-ready-for-prime-time instant All-Star and a lock for Rookie of the Year.
