bring it. used to play michigan every year and ohio state most years. nice anytime we can play both in the same season again. a win over either is better than beating maryland and rutgere combined. will be another chance to win or keep the little brown jug, too. forever optimistice (delusional?), i guess. go gophers.

" Hey we will play anyone" Except North Carolina plus give them $800k LOL.... Watch how the 2014 -2015 schedule changes once Kill is gone....Best get out that check book to buy off opponents ...

Jerry won't be here to coach those games in 2015.

Kill - "we'll play anyone." First of all, these are conference foes we are talking about here. Second, you already played Michigan every year before this new alignment. Third, you just advocated for the removal of an average ACC team from your schedule - so obviously, you won't play "anyone." Finally, losing to teams from the East doesn't affect your chances of making the B1G title game unless there's a need for tie-breaker scenarios. Just worry about winning the West.

Agreed, the NC State deal left a bad taste in my mouth, however I cut Kill some slack and still think he will succeed. Also, keep in mind the have SJSU this year who are dangerous (10 wins in '12 with a great passing attack), and TCU is much better than NC State. For those who are interested - Great website for college football news and team breakdowns, CFN scout (.com). The Gophers were featured last week, it's a good read. They breakdown several teams a week until July.

"It would be easy for Gophers fans to compare their schedule to Wisconsin’s and think there’s some kind of conspiracy."-----and it would only serve them right if that was indeed the case. Besides, according to Sid, the Gophers hired a better coach than Michigan did, so we really sholdn't have anything to worry about.

jmhanson21 is wrong. losing to teams in the east certainly does affect your chances of making the B1G title game. the division winner is crowned based on overall conference record.

Coach kill is over matched. He cannot recruit quality players so his teams will not win. I don't think he can make avg players win against better teams. And quality players do not want to play for avg team. That's the facts

Good to hear and now we will be able to see if Kill can really really let alone coach against the good teams and not just against a potful of East Overshoe Techs. The ever confident in his ability to recrute players who can actually compete in the Big Ten level, Kill will no longer be able to had the AD buy him out facing moderaly good D-I teams and replacing them with another EOT. It will take most fans a few years of success agaisnt legitimate D-I teams before they get over the absolute embarrassment of the decision to buy the modestly talented North Carolina Tarheels off of the schedule. Frankly, given his decision to requestr a buyout, I am not sure that he can be successful in the Big Ten but I do hope that I am proven to be wrong in that assumption.

Maybe in 2015 the UofM officials will figure out how to make a profit off selling Keg beer at TCF. In related news, Seats are still available for Business Ed 101 classes, Fall session.
