I have no idea how long this will last (probably until we play the top 3rd teams in the league) but it is a fun ride. Great to see the team knocking the ball all over the ball park today.

Nice to see some "Power" for once.....reminds me of the old time Twins - Killebrew, Allison, Hall & Oliva and throw in Mincher also......

'64. Killebrew, Allison, Oliva, Hall, Mincher, Versalles. Each hit at least 20. Killebrew, Allison and Oliva topped 30. Battey and Rollins had 12. This was when the mound was high, the zone was large, and 20 home runs was a big deal. Of course, the Twins failed to win 80 games that year, but good fireworks.

Another win vs. a terrible team - but it counts! Nice win for Diamond. One glaring critical observation: can the Twins replace the DH with a "DR" and have someone run for Parmalee when he gets on base? By golly, he's the worst baserunner I've ever seen!

Don't mean to burst any bubbles here but...Twins have had only 1 season in the past 20 years where they had more homers than opposing teams. Yep, One... We don't quite have the team to change this but good win.

It was a perfect day at the ballpark. The sun was shining, the ball was flying all over the place, and the Twins won! Good time had by all..except maybe the Mariners. :)

I realize the Mariners and Brewers are not great teams but it is so much easier to watch this brand of baseball vs the 10 game losing streak and the past two seasons! Glad to see Doumit and Hicks getting on track. Still a ways to go but Willingham is showing some life as is Dozier. I hope Morneau, once he feels better, can find his power again.

Twins are beating the teams they are supposed to beat now...so thats a start (and a change from the last two years). Keep it rolling down in KC! Twins are only 4 games back in the loss column from 1st place...crazy!

You got to beat the bottom feeders if your going to contend. Otherwise your are a bottom feeder. 3rd place and climbing. Sweep KC while they are down and let the chips fall where they may be. One injury from any top teams in the Central and we move up; if we can stay healthy we move up all the more.. So far so good.

The good news is the Twins are beating the teams they should, and they called up a catcher not named Butera, but curb your enthusiasm. The owners do not honor the game, they are bottom line guys laughing at the Rubes like us on the way to their off -shore accounts. Just stay away from the game until the get serious or sell. I would not be at all surprised if they did sell, now that taxpayers have increased the value of their team.
