Hitting, once a question mark, has rounded out his game.

I like what I see in this kid thus far. Great glove and tremendous arm to first base. Also, his hitting is equal to that of anyone else in the line-up right now ... absent the power. Keep him at shortstop and let him mature.

Yes, the "bug guns" failed to show up last night as they often do not when they had chances to drive in needed runs. Granted, if the twins played the Brewers everygame, they woulde easily win the pennant but then everyoen beats the Brewers so... Their performance last night which I am sure we see often during the remainder of the season just begs again the question as to why the Twins owners think so little of the local fans that they made no effort to make sure that they were fielding a competitive team when the new stadium opened. Now, here we are in the third year of the new stadium, a facility that has increased the value of the franchise for the owners thanks to the taxpayers, with talk about hoping to be competitive within two to three years. What an absolute insult to the fans! Remember that Vikings fans when the new stadium for the Wilfsters comes on line...the owners will have no incentive to field a competitive team just like the owners of the Twins...no matter what kind of pablum Unlce Sidney throws your way claiming otherwise.

This is one Gardy definitely got right. You don't see tall shortstops too often with a quick first step....soft hands, and a terrific arm. Defensively, he's a terrific player. If he can hit .250 + and pop 8-10 home runs and have some gap power, he'll be around a good while. One of the things I really like about him offensively is he seems to be the type that drives in guys in scoring position when he has the chance. The kid certainly has upside.

"Remember that Vikings fans when the new stadium for the Wilfsters comes on line...the owners will have no incentive to field a competitive team just like the owners of the Twins":___ Respectfully disagree. Unlike the Twins' owners, the "Wilfsters" (especially Zygi Wilf) actually appear interested in the team's success and are fans themselves that want the team to actually win.

He's been really fun to watch, makes the plays he should make while also making some spectacular plays. Hope he keeps it going.

He had a bad first two weeks this season. And I think he cost them a couple games. But he's grown up now; and is nicely focusing. We're lucky.........
