For the life of me I have no idea why these places are popular, especially with so many local 'good' choices available.

Of course they got their liquor license. In St. Paul we have the best politicians money can buy.

Good to know that many neighbors are anti-business. I would have left the site the empty eye sore it was and taken my 100 jobs and other contributions to the City of St. Paul elsewhere. Let the neighborhood "win" for losing.

I can't imagine why anybody would fight a BW3. Seriously. I know the folks in that neighborhood like to fight any franchises that try to establish locations in their precious neighborhood (except for Starbucks, Caribou and Dunn Bros....hmmm) but Buffalo Wild Wings is absolutely harmless!! If I were those folks I'd be a whole lot more concerned with what goes on at places like O'Garas and Plums than I would be BW3. BW3 is where you go to watch a game. The food is OK, not great and the beer selection is the same (OK, not great). They don't ever have live music or any sort or underage events or anything at all that's going to draw any sort of riff-raff. In fact its a decent place to take the family.

Not everyone is a snobbish foodie. Buffalo Wild Wings, or even McDonalds, are perfectly fine for me.

It is a Buffalo Wild Wings for crying out loud! Why do they live in an area that is zoned for such establishments? Those whiners should move to the burbs where they belong. I could not believe when I read - “Brenda Natala said that Buffalo Wild Wings knows they’ll be watching.” Watching? She must have a lot of time on her hands. I can just picture these neighbors with their noses up in the air monitoring every minute it is open. I am sure they will find plenty to complain about, mostly imaginary
