Twins provide a neighborly sweep with 8-6 victory over Brewers

The Brewers proved the perfect antidote for what ailed the Twins. Four early homers didn’t hurt, either.

nice sweep! Recognize that the Brewers are having their issues.... But the games were fun times four! Go Twins!

Joe Mauer with 3 HR's in the past 6 games? If this a result of his "new" approach and trying to be more aggressive in driving in runs and hit for more power, I'm really liking it! While I don't expect Joe to maintain this pace for the rest of the year, the big question is if he can consistently hit for more power the rest of the season.

I don't hear any whining about how the Twins should've kept Lohse or Gomez...must mean the Twins won, lol!

Even though it's been seven seasons since Kyle Lohse carried his 7 ERA out of Minnesota you could hear the "why did they trade Lohsers" cracking their knuckles in prep for the big night here. Then he went and stunk, perhaps reminding a tiny segment of them of the 1.65 WHIP he had in his final season as a Twin. What is he now, 1-6 this season and not even a handful of games over .500 for his career? Won more than 15 games just once (16). Well, that's what $33 mil over three seasons gets a team these days. But folks here wanted to spend it. And then gripe that Mauer's overpaid.

Great. Just enough beating an awful club to get this dreadful manager a contract extension from the Pohlads.

Lohse should have taken the short money and stayed with St. Louis, He would be 6-1 instead of 1-6, playing with the best team in baseball right now instead of the worst and could have still signed a good contract at the end of this year. Security isn't everything, just ask anyone on a losing, terrible team.
