DETROIT – Twins outfielder Wilkin Ramirez has been placed on the seven-day concussion disabled list — and he’s not happy about it.

Look for the Twins to call up Kyle Gibson AFTER June 1 to avoid the arbitration clock starting early. Fans used to rip "Uncle Calvin" about his spending, but this management seems no better. (With the exception of the inflated Mauer contract)

Bill Smith returned from Rochester and recommended that the Twins trade Gibson for Jim Hoey.

No, Bill Smith trades Gibson for Nishi and continues to pay Nishi his $10.5 million. Pohlad Kids, Please, all the management from top to bottom needs to be let go throughout this organization, even including the announcers, and new people who have never heard of "The Twins Way" hired.

Apparently, the Twins major problem is having another catcher on the team so Mauer can get more time away from catching, unless the decision has been made for Morneau to be traded and Mauer take over first base with the .209 Parmalee or Collabello as Mauer's backup.
