It was the first time the event had been held in a major league ballpark, and John Anderson said the Twins went to great lengths to “treat us like big leaguers.”

Been watching some of the games on the BIG 10 Network. Great baseball. It's a shame the tournament is being played in front of friends and family only with all the empty seats at Target Field. Maybe the Twins and Big 10 should offer these games free to Twins season ticket holders in the future. Might put some more people in the stands and make extra concession revenue.

I watched some of the action from the Big Ten Tournament too. I agree, very exciting baseball, and it's ridiculous that there were only less than 1,000 people to see it. Maybe the answer isn't giving tickets away for free. Maybe the answer is having the tournament at a venue and in a city that has proven to love amateur sports. Next year, the tournament will be in Omaha, at TD Ameritrade Park, home of the College World Series. If the Big Ten knows what's good for them, they will hold it there every other year, at the very least. A guarantee it will break all tournament attendance records.

BALLFOUR: But not enough of a shame to go out to the yard? Other people didn't go, most likely, for the same reason that you didn't. It's OK baseball. The metal bat "ping" is tough to take.

Thank the taxpayers not the Twins. We paid for it!
