Congrats to the Twins pitchers today, they were great or the Tiger hitters were having a really bad day.tomorrow could very well be the start of another ten game losing streak but they won today and picked up a game on the front runners.

Where are you Joe-bashers? Obviously he should have done more so the game wasn't so close, right? It must have been his fault that the Tigers scored a couple of runs, right? RIGHT?

Nice win. Glad to see some of the usual suspects come through - Mauer and Morneau with the bats, Perkins with the save. Good to see Walters might have figured things out since his last stint with the Twins last year. Hopefully this is an indication of more good things to come from Walters.

music thumping and celebratory cigars? You have a long way to go boys before you start doing that. It reminds me of the scene in Money Ball when Brad Pitt comes into the locker room and gets rid of Jeremy Giambi for post game theatrics

loop80: "Where are you Joe-bashers?" My sentiments exactly, I'm waiting for the "yeah he went 3-4 and had an HR, but only 1 RBI... and he struck-out once."

Minnesota Twins baseball...major league prices for minor league ball...yeh that's their new slogan...and save your money folks you can get the minor league experience a lot cheaper in Saint Paul. But if you want to see major league baseball played by atleast one team, then go to Target Field.

I was surprised at the success of the team to remain at .500 early in the yr. I would go see a .500 team, win a few, lose a few. But now they are on life support and the doctor is calling in the pastor to pray for the patient and family. It's ugly on the field. Again, over and over, baseball come down to pitching. Which we don't have, none of our starters are going to win15 games this yr. that's one huge glaring problem. Next is the team hitting is woeful. Only Maumau and Canada guy are hitting over .300. Geek, in for long year, it's only MAY! Yuk
