The twins are sooo bad, that even the star-tribune writers have to resort to printing minor league updates!!!!

At this point we might as well just put the Fort Myers Miracle out there against Detroit tomorrow night.

following the minor leaguers is more interesting than following the twins

“We have a certain way we want to play, and that requires attention to detail,” Steil said. “It doesn’t matter who it is. A player has to play the game the right way.” Does this rule apply to Dozier? He did not cover first base on the double play ball hit to Morneau and Dozier did not cover 2nd in time to take Escobar's toss leading to three unearned runs in the 2nd inning. Dozier is also batting under .200 and last year destroyed the Twins pitchers with his poor play at ss, but was still the Twins player shown to the public on the Twins winter Caravan. Apparently, the Twins think his appearance is more important than his play. I expect Rosario is angry, as is Casilla, Escobar and Carrol that Dozier plays ahead of them.

Oh good - another young talent that the Twins organization can not get along with. Right now playing the game the way the Twins wants produces nothing but loses. Wait until he gets to Gardy - one year and he will be gone and have a fantastic career somewhere else. Keep Gardy and all these hot prospects will have no success with Twins. Gardy can not and does not relate with young players. if they aren't perfect gardy is lost. No future for this organization with Gardy and TR in charge.

In regard to the quote "We want a player to play the game the right way" that what is happening on the major league squad? Errors, poor base running, absolutely awful starting pitching, no timely hitters (like hitting with runners on base or in scoring position). It seems that the Twins can't develop pitching or at this point other young talent. Today they let Joe Benson go on waivers...Now he many never do anything at a major league level, but neither has Parmalee, Dozier, etc. I am really concerned the more I keep hearing about Gardenhire not being able to relate to young players, especially when the team is trying to rebuild. It would seem the best place to start is by letting Gardenhire and probably Rick Anderson go....and give others a chance to turn it around,,,,you can't option all the players to the minors....
