Retirement could be bummer for many boomers

This is a good reminder for anyone thinking of voluntarily retiring "early"- it's a lot better to be working and wishing you're retired than the other way around!

A lot of boomers never even considered adjusting their lifestyles to reflect their recent loss of income. They just kept up their middle and upper middle class lifestyles by using their retirement accounts as piggy banks. They kept their nice cars, boats, vacation properties and paid their children's private college tuition at the expense of their future financial well-being. I'm sure in 10 years we'll all be hearing stories about how these same irresponsible people are broke and living solely off of their SS income.
