I was just talking about this with a buddy. The experts do not know what totally drives a sex offender of any kind, and yet we do know that a very high percent go back to their ways. Now until we can find an answer to those deep psychological questions or if we need to keep them under control until we do.The answer may not even be found. So we have to do something to stop this everyday occurance. We decided that we need to lock them up until something can be figured out.We also talked about casteration, which I have heard works in the inmates that wanted it done to curb their sexual urges. But if it's a question that hasn't been answered yet,we still need to do something. The victims all,but ecspecially the children, need something done.I've wondered this for a long, long time as I think most people have, that it's the same now as it was 50 years ago.Treatment and longer incarceration just hasn't done much of anything.I really think something more drastic, that might not be the way you would treat someone for other behaviors. This behavior needs some new considerations.
Once a creep of this kind, always a creep of this kind. Make room for them in prison, that is where they belong. Let the pot smokers go to make room for these creeps.
