Absolutely delicious to listen to Twins TV announcer/cheerleaders describe home run that ties game tonight in bottom of 9th, and then walk off hit that wins game in bottom of 10th. Lots of denial. Even though they blow the game, Twins can do wrong, according to the TV crew. Fox North apparently doesn't think you locals either want the truth, and/or think you can't handle it. Go Giants. Go Sharks.

We have to assume they might win al least one more game of the next eight, but that will bury this lousy, but very profitable for the pohlads, team for another year.

The 2012 Twins are a very bad team.

The laughingstock of all major league baseball keeps rolling down the drain. Meanwhile at the Pohlad mansion, the escort girls and champagne keep flowing, the indulgence of corruption that just keeps going, and going, and going....

The 2013 Twins are also a very bad team. (I can't even remember what year it is with these guys . . .)

To quote Roy Orbison: "It's over, it's over, it's oooovvvveeerrr."

This team will come up with all sorts of interesting ways to lose this year. Tonight was interesting, no?

@danbann5, you must not follow the Twins much; every fan watching in the TC is well aware of our broadcasting team's equanimous natures (previous broadcasters were dismissed for being too negative). So, the truth, in a nutshell? We're a bad team. I think Gardy's dilemma is not finding at-bats for young players, it's deciding which underperforming players to play in the hopes of finding perhaps 1 major-leaguer from: Dozier, Plouffe, Escobar, Florimon, Dozier, Arcia, Hicks, Parmelee and Ramirez. If just one of these guys stepped up, they'd play every day. None of them, so far, deserve that honor.

One writer here at the Strib quibbed last week the Twins wouldn't lose 100 games this year...Wanna bet?

We'll never be a good team as long as we keep the current pitching coach.
