$250,000 for married couples. What if you're single? Are there no more taxes other than the income tax? B2B services sales tax? Lots of details are missing here... Would be nice to have a live blog or something.

What a shame. Apparently we are not interested in having people in the state that make over $250k as a couple. I guess we will have to rely on our stellar winters to attract those people who actually create jobs.

So now smokers are to partially fund the Vikings stadium - it looks like beginning in July I will pick up my cigarettes in Wisconsin during my Sunday beer runs...

DFL Leadership in the House and Senate, what a huge disappointment, you called the Republican's drift in the Pawlenty administrating too far of a reach and now you have the trifecta and you do the same thing. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should have. I personally waited for a more balanced legislative group and welcomed a new Governor who was DFL but you've not even finished one session and you guys blew it already. When can we start looking to the middle and stop the money blood bath, AFSCME just owned you today.

Glad the upper income tier will finally carry its weight. Here's one middle class taxpayer that has been tired of subsidizing them.

A $1.60 boost on a pack of cigarettes? Looks like the democrats just turned about 15 of their base into Libertarians.

GUTLESS, to single out only 2% of defensly Minnesotans to pay for all this brand new spending. These DFLers wouldn't dare attempt to justify thier new spending by asking all MN taxpayers to pay for some of this hugely ramped up new spending spree. We can only hope everyone wakes up and votes them right back out in 2014.
