May he rest in peace and may his family and friends find comfort in their love and memories of him.

Deepest sympathy for the family of an absolutely amazing young man. He is an inspiration to many.

I had the pleasure of seeing him perform at First Avenue in December. He was charmingly shy and overwhelmed on stage, but we all cheered him on. Although I have probably seen better "performances", few have brought tears to my eyes, and made me reevaluate my life as he has. Most of us are granted much longer lives, but few of us have the impact that he has had. I for one, will strive to make one person happy each day - such a small goal with large rewards.

I was just listening to Zach's song , Clouds that I had downloaded on my iPad and came on to see how he was doing ... My heart is saddened by this brave young mans death ... I cringe because I would have liked to think we would have had a cure by now. One that would have saved Zach.

Wow. First time I heard this song and I couldn't keep a dry eye. Now that I'm a parent of two young boys, I can't imagine how his parents are feeling. However, they should be proud and take solace in that they raised a beautiful child who brought so much in his 18 years than some people in a lifetime. I hope his family and friends find comfort and healing knowing that he touched so many lives. God bless you Zach and your family!

I cried this morning when I read this. My heart goes out to his family and friends - I know that it is no consolation right now, but please do know that Zach's memory will live on in his words and in the hearts of all that he touched through his story.
