Today, there were 4 State-bred races, and tomorrow, there are 4 State-bred races. 8 races out of 18 for State-breds. This is just government-regulated cash infusion into rich Minnesota horse breeders. The horses that end up in Minnesota should not be bred. I'm so tired of reading that Minnesota horses, injured as 2 year olds, are allowed to breed. And now the State gives them a pass. Sidebar: Looking at that picture of the second race....To wear a shadowroll on a sloppy track is not a good thing unless you know you have the best horse. So easy.

Calling minneosta horse breeders "rich" would be a stretch. Wouldn't you rather have the money kept in State? Also, your shadowroll comment makes no sense. Wearing a shadowroll on a sloppy track is not a good thing unless you know you have the best horse? What if your horse comes from way out of it like Derby winner orb. It still is going to get muddy and you know he is the best rose. Besides, the picture you are referring to, there doesn't seem to be any mud on the shadowroll. If you are worried about it getting ruined or caked in mud, wrap it in Saran Wrap or vet tape and you will be good to go.
