People may be turning off network TV in droves, but they're also dropping their over-priced cable subscriptions, too. Personally, I like watching series on discs and, in most cases, can wait till a season is released on disc to watch it - except for Walking Dead. I keep up with TWD on a week-to- week basis. It's a brilliant show. I know lots of people like and watch it, but it's largely perceived (and dismissed) as a zombie/horror series. Not that the show needs any help, but critics and tastemakers have yet to realize how remarkably complex and insightful it is as legitimate drama. Zombies are just a metaphor here.
