Yarn artist HOTTEA launches first solo show in Minneapolis

His yarn art adorns fences and poles from Los Angeles to Berlin, but it took Burnet Gallery two years to track down the St. Paul artist for his first solo show.

it would be great if the yarn bombers would go back and remove the "art" after a while. instead it gets rained on, breaks apart and litters and creates a mess for someone else to clean up ... making it more like graffiti / tagging vs. art i usually see it on public property where permission is not granted to do that. in a gallery it is art -- outside it's just colorful litter.
