Unfortunately the R's don't seem to realize that this particular action is a bit like peeing your pants when you really have to go--it might feel good while you are doing it but then you are left with wet pants--seriously! MOVE ON people. Obama-care passed and is law. Nothing you can do to change that at least for the moment and you only risk reinforcing your image problem as a buch of time and tax wasting do-nothings. Grow up!
A resounding testament to an impotent, idiotic congress that seems dedicated to demonstrating it has no pragmatic sense of priorities in serving this nation. It's astonishing to think that many truly dumb people could wind up in Congress at the same time.
According to a June Congressional Research Service report, when the House is in session it costs the public $53,534 per day — or $8,360 per hour — in House floor costs. But, as CRS notes, that estimate is extremely conservative, because it does not include “leadership and member salaries, member and committee staff salaries, staff employment benefits, utilities, Architect of the Capitol support staff, and costs associated with the media galleries,” which CRS calls “substantial.” This is the 37th time the House has wasted real taxpayer money. Do the math - we're talking about over a million dollars being flushed down the toilet here. And these people claim to worry about how tax dollars are spent???
Maybe they should just pass a bill saying that the House should be considered as having voted to repeal the ACA every single day, unless and until they say otherwise! That way they can have whatever benefit they feel comes from doing the same thing over and over, while not wasting the time to actually do it.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. - Albert Einstein ------------ Add to that moronic, stupid, idiotic, and a few other words that probably won't make it to posting.
So aren't all the republicans against government waste? Aren't they wasting time and money every time they take up this vote?
