The stadium will have giant pivoting glass doors that open to the downtown Minneapolis skyline.

Essentially a suburban structure built to dominate its surroundings -- not fit into them. This is a building entirely unsuitable for a downtown environment. Not surprising, given that the Dallas-base architects probably drove by Jerry World every day. Jarring, angular structures likely this have generally not aged well.

Jeez-that stadium is hideous. Very little outdoors will get inside. Imagine sitting at any event and being indoors but having to deal with the sun?? Why would you put on a see-thru roof? Put a retractable roof. Those swinging window/doors things?? This is a really a stinker.

"'We think clear is the new retractable,' Trubey said". Just like the last designers thought domes were the next big thing. Indoor ball is still indoor ball. $50 million is 5% of $1 billion; eliminate the big doors, and include a retractable roof. You'll regret you didn't.

An extra 5% to the total cost and we could have had a retractable roof, OMG! I think if the Casino's were asked, together, they would have paid for it. How disapointing and short-sighted can our leaders get? I think Ziggy's middle name must be zag.

all that glass is just stupid...my brother and I could feel the heat radiating from Target Field and that's limestone...this is glass...boy it's gonna get hot in there on a sunny day..
