Mexican immigrants Alejandro Castillon and Conrado Badilla are living the American dream. Ten years after moving north to Minnesota, the two lifelong friends are making the Midtown Global Market a major taco destination with their Sonora Grill. This scratch kitchen leaves nothing to others, starting with perfect tortillas and filling them with eye-rollingly tender braised pork, brazenly spicy red tempura shrimp, gently fried tilapia and slow-roasted, mouth-melting beef tongue. you've got to be kidding! I tried these when Strib food section recommended them a few months back and they wer horrible. I figured nothing could be that bad and still get a rave review so I tried them again and they were worse the second time. Lacking in flavor, not much different tasting than those at Taco Hell, overpriced...just. plain. lousy.
