Let the team and the league pay for it. Keep it out of the General Fund.

Just please make sure the roof doesn't collapse on this one too. Thanks, *signed Minnesota*

Anyone find it ironic that the Vikings chose the Guthrie Theater to unveil the new stadium design? Considering The Guthrie was the primary piece of infrastructure stadium proponents referenced when defending the plan against those who didn't want to spend tax dollars on a facility they would never use?

I am so excited! Are they going to discuss Personal Seating Licenses (PSLs) or Building Seating Licenses? How much are they going to gouge the season tickeholder? How many thousands of dollars per seat will the Vikings charge? $5,000? $10,000? $15,000? $20,000? $25,000? $50,000? More?

The "stadium or else" ultimatum is nothing more than corporate welfare for the Wilfy. The Vikings will never leave Minnesota, the NFL would have zero presence from Wisconsin to Washington state, with the exception of Denver, much further south. There would be a two thousand mile east-west gap between the two cities, crushing a huge rivalry between the Vikings and Green Bay.

It is the height of irresponsibility to go forward with this stadium when we still don't even know how it's to be paid for. All we know is that Wilf expects other people (ie, the ever beleaguered taxpayers) to pay for it. He's not putting up a DIME of his own money, "his" share is coming from NFL loans and naming rights.
