Five Baltimore pitchers hold Twins scoreless 6-0

Scott Diamond is a creature of habit and a man dedicated to perfecting his craft. He is gaining a reputation in the Twins clubhouse for extensive video analysis of opponents that leads to impressive pregame reports.

LOOKED like DIAMOND was pitching batting practice out there today not much velocity as usual.

It's rachet day my brothers; rachet back those hopes and expectations. The Twins are who we thought they were. We're not like Detroit, who when Verlander has a bad day, others in the rotation can pick him up. Who's gonna pick up our best pitcher? You may now begin to cry.

My second guess of the day, 1st inning, 3 and 1 to Davis and Diamond hangs a cream puff with light hitting Wieters on deck. Why not walk Davis and pitch to Wieters?

The Twins have never won a series against the Orioles at Target Field and probably never will.

and Gardy's proverbial post game diatrabe..."the boys really got after it today, we got some good swings it and Dias only threw three really bad pitches"....sos

lindy_frank123May. 12, 13 6:53 PM

for all you Yankee haters out there..touche' they're not using injuries as excuses are they? and somehow have "plugged in" outside parts to help fill the loss...oh and their secondbaseman has 10 homeruns already...TEN!...YEH be jealous and bitter but guess what? they know winning baseball and they believe in it...

swingingbuntMay. 12, 13 7:08 PM

Since when did Weiters become "light hitting" you puds who only comment on twins' losses make me laugh

Maybe it just seems that way when they can't get anything going, but I thought the Twins looked pretty lethargic today. Despite anything the manager may have said, the did NOT battle their tails off.

Gardy is clueless as usual. And he really needs to stop calling his players by their nicknames. He is way too close to his players as a manager. Makes you wonder who really is in charge in that clubhouse, doesn't it?

Twins gave up 20 runs in 48 hours. Not a pretty picture.
