Much-anticipated design is more likely to feature a movable wall or window than a retractable roof.

Obviously Minnesota has gone stark raving mad. They have a stadium that is useable for football and can be upgraded for a mere fraction of what a new monstrosity will cost, but for some reason they want to add a tax burden across the State and more specifically Minneapolis, so that one mans net worth is increased.

I remember reading a retractable roof would add 150 to 200 million but not its 25 to 50 million. Are these they same ones who told us that pull tabs would bring in 34 million not really 1.7 million?

Looking for love in all the wrong places. Try building something that says "Minnesota" instead of "NFL." You might save the NFL from itself.

This is Minnesota ... it snows here, even this morning ... Make the stadium available for more than eight games a year ... Make it also for high school sports and other events when it's cold and we're watching someone else in the playoffs ... Or let the team pay for the whole thing themselves ...

One small request on the new stadium: NO SHADOWS on the field. It looks terrible in person and on TV.

Once the Vikings cut Chris lose for publically advocating for equality we should be looking for another team to support.

I do not agree with Rybak one bit. I know it's too late for this but the state could have saved a lot of money and built an open door stadium. TCF cost about $250 million. Would rather watch a game out side than inside. Green bay and Chicago have no problem with it.

I have an idea. How about we retract our financial support for this and let the billionaire pay for his playland with his own money? And all the talk of the town is how the rich are being taxed too much. How about taxing us to give money to a billionaire he can build his monument?

"and more restrooms for the hometown fans"... so the visiting fans get a tin can?

If we have a movable wall on the end, cutting edge stuff for the coming blimp cargo industry - we can house blimps in it on non-game-days.
