Wolves end experiment with Roy

The Wolves waived three-time All-Star guard Brandon Roy on Friday, releasing him from the final year of a two-year, $10 million-plus contract.

Again, signing Roy was never going to work out. This was a complete waste of energy and money by the Wolves, so I'm pleased to see the team clear out the underbrush. Kahhhhhhnnnnn!

Any idiot could tell you that Brandon Roy has terrible knees and you should not sign him, but David Kahn signs him. Any idiot could watch March Madness on CBS with Davidson and tell you that Steph Curry can shoot from anywhere on the court and you should draft Curry ahead of Jonny Flynn, but Kahn drafts Flynn. Any idiot could tell you that Darko Milicic is a lazy, out of shape basketball player who should not be offered an NBA contract, but Kahn offers him an NBA contract.
