Dayton's DNR is quite remarkable. The DNR reflects the leadership at the top and the DNR's Commissioner is steeped in old age management that allows mixed use resource extraction and manages ecosystems to supply those extractions. It is a management that is outdated and leads to ecological degredation and certainly results in the loss of our natural environmental heritage. Commissioner Landwher must be removed and replaced with a 21st century environmentalist dedicated to the preservation of Minnesota's native habitat and protcted natural areas. This can't be done soon enough.
