Grandma made me one of these out of many of the t-shirts I had collected over my 24 years Navy career. One of the BEST gifts ever! Cool and functional!!!

My Mom pioneered this. She surprised me by presenting me with a HANDMADE quilt of all the concert shirts and such I accumulated in high school. This was 25 years ago. She did these, made custom XMAS stockings and painted Easter eggs and made amazing cross-stitches for people, all from scratch and by hand, and usually for nothing but the cost of the materials. I always told her she could have had a nice home business, but she did it because she loved it. God knows what she could have done if she would have had a $35,000 crutch.
