Josh you should be working for the Wild next year...now for Broziak, PMB, Spurgeon, Heatly, Koivu, Rupp and Mitchell you should not..

The problem with the Wild is they have A LOT of players that fit this description: "Hard worker; does a lot of the little things right; and [fill-in-the-blank] can't be judged just by the points they score." Seriously, hearing the coaches/GM say that about a Wild player is getting old and worn.

Here is a rarity in Stanley Cup Playoff History when the fans score as many points as their vaunted captain who just hates to lose. Over rated and over paid. Best part now that it's over is no more obscene money for 32,96. Hopefully with a 82 game season and less travel things can normalize. 9 can go back to Finland and show up just in time for training camp avoiding any interaction with the team he so fearlessly leads.

How much longer is the Wild on the hook for Setoguchi? Another year? San Jose has got to be laughing at the Wild for taking him off their hands. Talk about a player who has failed to live up to the hype. I've stated it from the day the Wild got him, it's never a good thing when a player's ex-coach questions his effort and consistency and thinks/hopes he has more than what he's shown.

Slogging you have zero credibility. Why? Deflecting the focus of the article away from Parise. With all of his 30-plus goal seasons, there is no other way to state it than to say he was brought in to score goals. Add on top of that his supposed playoff experience, and he was expected to do more than he did. But per ususual, the local media can't go after the local hometown heroes.

Give it time but I do understand there needs to be changes. PMB needs to be done with playing hockey if you unwilling to play against the boards and take or deliver a hit we can't use you. Charlie Coyle will be another year older and the Wild should be making sure he becomes that guy that can sit in front of the net and score goals. He needs to get be stronger on his skates but has a ton of ability already. I could not agree more Koivu should not have been the captain and at best is a 2nd line center on the other hand Cullen should have worn the C and deserves it the Wild need to sign him for 2 more years no more than that. They might as well bring up Dumba because what we have after Suter and Brodin leaves a lot to be desired. We traded a goalie for Pomenville which was probably a mistake knowing the situation we are in. Coaching needs to be improved I understand players have to respond but you can't have a powerplay that does not score and worse yet blame it on the fans because they put too much pressure on the team yelling SHOOT! when they never pull the trigger. That stupid statement being brought to you by the self proclaimed hockey gods at KFAN and Russo. Looking forward to next season.

The Wild must find someone who can get the puck to Parise down low. Too bad Cullen is getting old and no contract.
