Heck, the NFL should pay every college millions every year. After all, these institutions are the NFL's minor league feeder system.

they can play at tcf until the team comes up with a way to pay for their own stadium that doesn't involve my money. if you have such a wonderful product, sell stock. your entertainment private business model shouldn't involve my tax dollars.

I hope one of the upgrades is to put a heating system under the field. Why the U did not do so in the first place baffles me.

It'll be good to see the home team win some regular season games at The Bank, even if for only two years.

@th3171 Because only one game in 4 years has been affected by the cold field. (And it actually helped the Gophers win the game, btw. 2010 vs. Iowa. And it was awesome.) Hardly worth the millions in added expenses.

So...the taxpayers pay for the UoM Stadium and then UoM pockets the money? Hmmmm...talking about socialize the costs and pocket the profits.

Also @ tbdbitl7881...seriously? The Gophs play at TCF from September to end of November. That's PERFECT outdoor football weather! Snow, rain, sunshine, whatever. Outdoor football year round!
