I don't know what bumbling bureaucracy decided to build all those new apartments on the riverfront in downtown but they should've made them mixed use like every other thriving modern city does and put retail spaces facing the riverfront!! Who is running the show down there because this was an EPIC mistake that will haunt Saint Paul for decades because these are new buildings? Has anyone in STP ever been outside of the city and been to thriving bustling cities and seen what they have done with their waterfronts and river walks? What a wonderful opportunity totally wasted. Another sign of how backwards and inept STP is.
