So Secretary Clinton took responsibility...and nothing happened. What sanctions or penalty was placed on her? Who among us could get away from such dereliction of duty? Only the Obama political elite. Hopefully, new light today from the whistleblowers.

Who actually believed Benghazi was fueled from some idiot video? Come on people. Four Americans are dead, and we were lied to from the start. When are you going to hold this administration accountable for ANYTHING? The media should be ashamed as well. Disgusting.

SHUSHYN78, Did you have the same opinion on Reagan's "dereliction of duty" for the 241 marines killed in Beirut, or those killed at embassies during the GW Bush administration? If the host country doesn't protect embassies then things like this happen, as they did in Iran, Sudan, Lebanon etc., etc.

I wonder how many millions of dollars have been wasted by the goptp for witch hunts against Obama? Let's see here, birth certificates, being a muslim, 38 attempts to reverse Obamacare, 5 investigations into Benghazi. What a waste. The goptp is falling in to oblivion by the second. On their own doing.

So they've fired up this latest sideshow because of a non-military witness claiming there were a number of unavailable military options that should have been taken? Just another dog and pony show from the ever-shrinking teapublican party. It's too bad they slashed funding for embassy security.. or they could have tied this into their 'jobs, jobs, jobs' agenda. But instead... we have BENGHAZI!!!!

RE: Clinton Haven't they heard of 'plausible deniability?' There is, and should be, a lot of blame to go around. Hanging this on Hillary, however, is probably a loosing proposition. Force the issue and end up looking silly, stupid, or worse. Point out the administration, in general, is doing a lousy job and let it go at that.

@kindaliberal - Those adminstrations did not lie to us for two weeks after like this one did. You will see that there were talking points the detailed this as a terrist attack immediately after but "Someone" in this administration crossed those out and had Rice spew this demonstration crap and Obama continued it weeks later in the UN no less.

Looking forward to the GOP's investigation into the intel failures that led to the Iraq invasion. That foreign policay misstep was covered up, too (does the nama Valerie Plame ring a bell), and it cost quite a few more needless lives and money than Benghazi. So who has more egg on their face?

The cynicism of this piece of scripted theatre is breathtaking. Of course the Administration isn't telling the truth about Benghazi. The GOP knows this, because they know the truth about Benghazi as well. And both the GOP and the Administration will continue to collaborate to keep the truth hidden. The GOP sees this is an opportunity to make some cheap political hay, because they know full well the Administration can't and won't tell the the actual truth, and neither will they.

It's a classic situation. When you know another person is lying, you can tell your own set of whoppers, because you know the other person won't disprove you, because to do so, they would have to expose their own lies--to which you are already a party.

The truth is that the Libya job was pulled off by the same contractors who have been doing all the "wet work" in the Middle East for Empire for decades now. You can call the "Al Quaeda" if you want. They did Afghanistan vs. the USSR; they have been active all over Africa and the rest of southern Asia. We moved them to Libya to oversee the hit on Gadhafi once he started to subvert the IMF and World Bank and sell oil in other-than-dollars. His mistake was handing over his nukes. Now we've moved the same team to Syria, where they make up the entire "opposition" to Assad. Assad's a monster in his own right, don't get me wrong, but siccing Al Quaeda on that poor beleaguered country isn't going to make things better.

The Benghazi "Embassy" or "Consulate" or whatever we're going to call it was nothing more than a CIA station house. A center for illegal activity and the coordination of terrorist campaigns, including the shipment of men and materiel from Libya, where it had achieved its purpose, to Syria for the next step in the campaign which was outlined by the PNAC and has been followed without deviation for 20 years.

If you still don't understand that Democrat is to Republican as Harlem Globetrotter is to Washington General, then you aren't ever going to figure this stuff out and understand what is going on and why things happen the way they do.
