A powerless power play, along with an injury to goalie Josh Harding, left Thursday's Game 5 as a must-win for the Wild.

So what kind of excuses tonight Mild fans? Is it back to fire Yeo and Fletcher again? Or the refs were bad? Or no goalie? How about 0-6 for the P.P. and how your number 9 and 11 are overrated and grossly over paid. I Told you! Hawks in 5!

I just don't understand what Yeo is seeing with Broziak on the "Powerless" play. He looks like he is tossing manure with a pitch fork out there. Just no feel for the puck. He doesn't make anything happen. At this point, front load the PP with Sets. They need a proven scorer. If they score, you don't need to worry about the back end of the PP. Rough baptism for Kuemper.

YOE must GO.....LaPanta, and Gorg on Fox, take some smelling salts...IT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE when the Gophers don't win...THE media needs to push this thing that YOE is not the answer.....

And in other absolutely shocking Minneapolis sports news, the Vikings, Timberwolves, Gopher Football, and Gopher Basketball teams (all the major sports in town except the Twins) welcome the situation as the Wild are just one loss away from the continuing saga of losing major sports teams in this town. Other than the Twins, it has only been sixty years or so since we last had a successful sports franchise in town… and then the Lakers left. Wouldn’t you think that, even if just by accident, somehow this town could cobble together a winning team? It almost takes real skill to lose this consistently. Well at least we have the weather. Oh, scratch that. Oh, but we have low taxes. Oh, not that either, and about to get worse. Please help me – why do I live here????

Rick Yeo is the head coach. The head coach has the power to change the power play strategy in a period, game or in this case, a series. The power play has not changed. The Wild have gone 0 for Whatever on the power play in this series. This series is over. I hope I have seen Rick Yeo's last game as head coach of the Minnesota Wild.

Never seen a worse Power Play unit. That was brutal fail of epic proportions.

The Wild do not belong in the playoffs. Hope they prove me wrong. When you change at every opportunity to get a goal...you don't belong in a playoff. You DO win with defense, but not when that's all you want your team to do.

I know we are having really bad luck with goalie injuries, but to state the obvious: You can't win if you can't score!!!!! They scored 3 times and I don't think we had three good chances.
