Because we knew about them and probably provided satellite assistance in learning about them. It not only prevented them from being used on Israel, it sends a message to Hezbollah and Iran that we see what you are doing. Basically, just an artfully delivered diplomatic message. Bill G.

Sdbut this type of tribal warefare ha been going on for centuries. The weapons are more sophisicated but the mind set is the same. I dont know if things will ever change.

Get out of the mid-east. Protect the only democracy there, Israel. We have no business spending billions trying to fix their centuries old tribal dysfunction. Who cares anymore. Protect our borders from illegals and terrorists instead. That would be money well spent.

Reuters - Israelis kill 100 Palestinians - Palestinians and families, in apartment buildings - in air strikes... the cost of war, Israel is protecting itself... Syrian rebels - Syrian military killed 100 rebels and families .. THOSE HORRIBLE DASTARDLY SYRIANS!!!
