THERE ISN'T another state in the country, except for maybe Illinois that would put something like this in charge of a state Senate.

Hey -- I give him credit for being realistic that the "nanny state" policies of the DFL take tremendous tax revenues to support! At least he isn't like so many nauseating Democrat's who tout big government programs during the election, but get weak-kneed when it comes time to find the money to support these policies! Minnesotan's voted the DFL into power -- now they should support paying for what they have wrought!

Why are you taxing clothes? People NEED clothes. Why don't you tax soda instead? Soda is an unhealthy WANT not a NEED!

Kudos to Bakk for bringing back clothing sales tax. 90% of clothing bought is NOT necessary. Do you really believe tourists & outstaters are going to stop coming to Mall of America 'cause of a broader sales tax??

Oh, I get it...You buy a Vikings jersey and that will ultimately make up the states share of the stadium cost... Well, gotta hand it to them...I'm sure they knew going in that the electronic pull tabs was never going to work and here is the way out of the box...

Let us vote on whether or not we want a tax on clothing. I already know the outcome. Bumbling fools.

‘We are all going to get a little something here' .... Gulp. How about the citizens of Minnesota? What are they going to get? I bet the Governor makes the MOA clothing tax exempt and throws the independent, mom-and-pop stores, right under the bus.

19 years in the legislature. If Bakk wants to show some more of that leadership he is always talking about how about showing us some leadership on setting term limits.
