The most effortless and smoothest skater I have ever seen---been watching hockey for 60 years.

Kim Johnnson was our best defensmen before the trade to Chicago for Johnny and Nick Leddy for MA Barker......... In the playoffs against Anaheim Brad May sucker punched Johnny knocking him out, that assured the Ducks of closing out the series . Mister Mays penalty was 1 game...... I tell this story because the same thing can happen to Mister Suter now that teh stakes are high, if the Wild have any success in this series, all it takes is to knock out Suter and its over

Suter's on ice time just exposes the rest of the ineffective Wild blue line. They HAVE to play Suter and wear him out because Fletcher has failed to develop a strong blue line corp. Concerned that if this was a full season, Suter would be toast right about now. I sure hope Fletcher addresses the blue line needs this offseason.

So everyone is praising Suter for his ice time. . . what about his decision to pinch in the offensive zone while he tries to catch a puck 13' in the air creating a 2 on 1 IN OVERTIME? That loss was Suter's fault 100%. I am not impressed. Sorry Suter fans, you may put the blinders' on, but watch him and tell me if I am wrong.

OMG! Johnson was the best defencemen? Wow, The loss was 100% Suters fault? Wow. You kids please go be Timberwolve fans, they can use your brilliance over there. Johnson was SO GOOD, he got cut and doesnt play anymore. How does Suter play defense and score a hat trick to win the game? I am embarrassed for you guys. My question is, how does Suter play half of the game night after night, yet Backstrom gets tired in the net? These guys are in unbelievable shape! I am breathing harder watching the game than most of them are playing the game! Big game tonight, lets go WILD!

Suter and Brodin are the Wild's best Dman. Hands down. But they make mistakes. As mentioned earlier, on the OT goal, Suter watched on the blueline as 3 Blackhawks left the zone, leaving Brodin on his own. Then Brodin completely over committed on the 2 on 1 which resulted in a mini breakaway for the OT winner. If that would have been Stoner, Falk, Prosser or Clark in any of those 2 situations, we'd make a bigger deal of it.

duckhookboy - - - Thank You! Suter is a great DMan, but he can't be making those mistakes during a playoff run. You can't protect the goalie during 60 minutes of regulation time, then hang him out to dry during overtime.

mdaire: 100% Sutter's fault? Considering the final was 2-1, the first goal must have been his fault, also. That was actually Sutter that hit the post and missed several wide open looks, right? Crazy talk. Obviously you aren't seeing the game within the game. Before Sutter pinched, Mitchell was knocked off the puck. The Hawks made a one in a million bank shot high off the glass to a streaking forward. The Wild forwards were slow to react and backcheck. Brodin committed to the puck carrier. The shooter went 5-hole on Harding. So whose fault was it: Mitchell, Sutter, Rupp, Brodine, Harding, Yeo? Easy to play the blame game from the sofa. Bottom line: the best team in the league scored the game winner after an incredible pass off the glass. And by the way, you ARE wrong.
