I was expecting this to be the redneck answer to the goth duct tape dress... but this thing is actually an incredibly gorgeous dress that even goes amazingly well with her complexion and hair color. The shotgun shell covering is an amazing touch.
Awesome dress! Awesome Dad and Daughter, thanks for the story!
Nice dress! But now, I'm just waiting for some pusillanimous school administrator to have her arrested and expelled for the shotgun shell part of the dress. And then probably send Child Protection to arrest the father for 'endangerment' or some such balderdash. That kind of administrative stupidity is rampant in our schools these days. I'm at least sure that some firearms-phobes will now start to wail that "in the wake of the Newton massacre, blah-blah-blah ..." she is being "insensitive* for wearing something associated with guns. I hope folks will leave this fine young woman and her great dad alone, but...
So Cool! What a great memory for her and her Dad. And Jarlmn, how about not making this about your issues, huh? This is supposed to be a feel good story,so just wish them well.
This is awesome! Congratulations to both of you. The dress is beautiful. Project Runway right here in Wisconsin.
Way to go Dad!
LOVE this! She has a special Dad; this will be a wonderful memory for her. My Dad used to knit us mittens and scarves; I wish I still had a pair (I wish I still had Dad around to knit them). This is a wonderful story!
This is truly a family that has great values, and I commend the dad, mom, and the daughter. I've always believed one of the best gifts a parent can give their children is their time - and this story shows the positive outcome when parents do that. I also give the daughter a lot of credit, as she truly appreciates her dad's talents. I hope for nothing but good things for all!
