Kahn, if he makes it another year will have surpassed Mchale as worst excutive in Twolves history. At least Mchale has an Exec of the year award, and the Wolves became something of a NBA playoff regular during his tenure.

Former Gopher Nate Triplett is available for the Vikings. Why not give him a look-see...Couldn't hurt..

Good scoop on the Penn State linebackers. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the best draft picks in this 2013 Vikings draft turned out to be those 2 linebackers. The Vikings have been drafting well in the later rounds with Spielman and his scouts and those two linebackers did a lot this year to keep Penn State from sinking with the scandal penalties.

I could be going out on a limb here, but,..If the Vikes thought these 2 would not help them they probably wouldnt have selected them!!!

I will actually go out on a limb here and put in writing that Hodges and Mauti will both be starting for the Vikings before the close of the 2013 season. The Vikings are not considered strong at linebacker at this time so the help they really need is at the starting linebacker positions. That's where they will get the help from Linebacker U. Hodges and Mauti will be starting with Greenway.

Maybe Spielman can start drafting for the wolves too. Or just finally hand it over to Flip.

So the Vikings drafted another set of teammates... Could they find a set of teammates where one of the pair doesn't have terrible knees for once?

Kahn blew it when he didn't take S.Curry instead of Johnny Flynn.

Michael Mauti is a beast. High motor. Playmaker. Leader. Explosive. High character. I've been reading on this guy and watching film. He is the real deal. The big question mark is health. He's torn his left ACL twice and his right once. He is currently rehabing after injuring the ACL late last season. Wishing the best for this kid, because he is a high impact player who COULD have a great career. No doubt he would have been taken in the 1/2 round if he didn't have injury issues.

Sid, there is a reason the Penn State linebackers were not taken higher in the draft. Every year you seem to pump up players that will never make the roster or have an impact. I still remember when you said you really liked Booty.
