If God told Rep. Bachmann to hire Rep. Sorensen, then the Iowa Ethics Committee has some nerve pretending they have authority over this matter. I believe it is Exodus 20:3 which should guide the decision making in this matter.

Looks like neither Bachmann or Sorenson are credible representatives of their religious bases are they? Same old, same old with the so-called born-again Christians who get mixed up in something they should know enough to stay away from

I dunno, the truth was pretty obvious to me. She constantly mispoke, mis interpreted and mis blamed, busted for all of it. Religion as guideline and focus is great, but when you depend on it to make your decisions for you, sorry, God in now way shape or form wants to make decisions for you. God wants you to have a basic clue and guide you.

If she didn't think it was a violation of the law, why did Michelle approve the money to be funneled through an out of state company owned by a staffer? Clearly she was attempting to hide something. She's an attorney and a lifetime politician claiming ignorance of the campaign laws? Seriously?

21 straight days of Bachmann stories since I started counting. How's Al Franken doing bring in the millions from out-of-state donors? Any stories from the award winning star trib about that? How about taking issue with the democrat legislature who has reneged on all its promises and goals? Come on, startrib - at least try to look unbiased and like a real news outlet.

bannedmuggs: Bachmann is the one under scrutiny. Not Al Franken. Go out and find some junk on him and write your article as an opinion piece.

bannedmuggs: Bachmann is the one under scrutiny. Not Al Franken. Go out and find some junk on him and write your article as an opinion piece. =============================== martin - she's under scrutiny because of the startrib. She's under scrutiny because democrats and the strib cannot beat her at the polls so they're digging for garbage. Typical Obama politics. Proof - I started counting 21 days ago to see the coverage. The award winning startrib has had her on the website 21 out of 21 days. The Pioneer Press has had her on 3 days. Kare11 has had her on 4 days. Its so obvious, its pathetic. If ethics investigations were really something Congress does, Pelosi, Reid, Feinstein, Boxer (just to name a few) have all been shown to benefited with millions of favored contracts and such since becoming senators or reps. And look at what happens to democrats who do get investigated. It was proven that Charlie Rangel stole and cheated to fill is coffers. Did the startrib carry that story much? Nope. And did anything happen to Rangel? Nope, he's still a representative making money. And if we were serious about ethics, our current president should be under the microscope by the startrib and he never is. This isn't about ethics, its about sore losers realizing they can't beat Bachmann at the polls, so Obama politics come to play (just ask Hilary Clinton).

"she's under scrutiny because of the startrib"--------Really? Do you really think anyone's going to believe that the Iowa Senate Ethics Committee is taking its marching orders from a Minneapolis newspaper? You've really started scraping the bottom of the barrel to come up with excuses for her illegal, unethical behavior. Try again.
