The Minnesota Senate approved a measure that would allow illegal immigrants to become eligible for in-state tuition, state financial aid and private scholarships.

I personally know a number of students saddled with large student loans to pay off; not sure its a good idea to provide state aid to illegal mexicans under these circumstances.

More give-aways with no accountability. They have to sign an affidavit saying they will become a legal citizen when eligible. Who enforces that? What consequences are there if they don't?

We are now going to pay a "surcharge" on our state income taxes ( those of us who pay them) to provide lower tuition for people who are in the country illegally and according to law should be deported ( the cheapest and most humane option) or jailed. What am I missing here?
