Sounds like a great book which I am excited to read. I have read Michael Pollan's previous books- Omnivore's Dilemma and In Defense of Food. He definitely brings up some interesting food conversations. I totally agree with his premises for this "Cook" book. I cook everyday (from scratch) because I enjoy cooking. No wonder it takes me about 1 hour to wash the dishes (even with the use of a dishwasher).
